Founded in 1950 by the Honorable Bro. Dr. Parlett L. Moore, the Sigma Beta Club is the premier youth auxiliary of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. Our mission is simple yet profound: to provide young men with the values, leadership skills, and social consciousness necessary to become the next generation of leaders.

In the Sigma Sigma Sigma Chapter, we believe that “The Next Generation” isn’t a distant concept—it is a present responsibility. We are dedicated to mentoring young men (ages 8-18), guiding them as they navigate the challenges of adolescence and prepare for the opportunities of manhood.

The Sigma Beta Club program is designed to cultivate well-rounded individuals while focusing on the following:

• Academic Excellence: Prioritizing scholastic achievement through tutoring, study groups, and college preparation resources.
• Social & Cultural Awareness: Expanding horizons through field trips, workshops, and community service projects that build empathy and global perspective.
• Leadership Development: Encouraging young men to take initiative, manage projects, and find their voices as advocates for their peers.
• Physical & Mental Wellness: Promoting healthy lifestyles, athletics, and the importance of mental health and self-respect.

Our advisors; the Men of the Sigma Sigma Sigma chapter are background checked and trained prior to interacting with the young men. They offer consistent guidance and a positive blueprint for success.
